I will often say OCR when I am presenting and someone will ask. What is OCR? I began to realize, maybe this needs it's own class! OCR is Optical Character Recognition and it is used to evaluate an image, figure out what is text and then turn that text into something you can save and edit. It's not only a time saver but its a feature that allows people to capture content and share to a variety of solutions which is quite helpful to struggling readers as well. This session will overview some of the more userful and popular OCR apps and where OCR is probably hiding in some of the apps you use today.
