First off, I apologize for a little bit of a Godzilla effect in this video. Also, I am thrilled to be able to reference Godzilla for it is far and away my moms favorite thing. That and Scooby Doo. You can play either show at any point of said show and she will know the exact show and what happened before and after said point.
Speaking of points, I fell off of mine, so, let's return.
Kudos to my three year old Chromebook for chugging along as I recorded a video from it AND did a video capture of the whole screen. There is a bit of lag during part of it, but, I still hopefully make my point.
Often educators have asked me if there is a good, free video recorded on Chromebook and usually my answer is not so much.
Now, I have a slightly different answer and it's the new video recorder in Flipgrid.
I go over the details in the video below, but, you can now create videos up to 5 minutes in length using the new video recorder in Flipgrid. It's BYOD and works really well on a Chromebook.
You can add filters, emojis, text, draw, add a whiteboard and even flip the camera while recording. You can also make multi scene videos which can have each of its scenes edited.
More details within the video below.
