Pear Deck is a solution that adds various forms of interactivity to both Google Slides as well as Microsoft PowerPoint.
Interactivity can be added from a variety of slide templates they provide or by adding Pear Deck features to slides you have already created.
While Pear Deck has been out for years I have found it to be constantly evolving with new features. I have found their latest updates to be more intuitive, easier to use and more seamless if you want interactivity within Google Slides or PowerPoint
Students can use any device and a join code to engage with slides you have added Pear Deck interaction to.
I do want to point out that I made a pricing boo boo in the video and apologize for that. There are a few features I showed that are premium only. You can learn more about Pear Decks pricing model here I was fortunate to have a group of volunteers and it was not until I wished these volunteers a good night did I realize my error.
My hope with this video is you will get a feel for how the platform works. You can try it out for free and when you sign up you will get 30 days free of Pear Deck Premium.
Disclosure: Pear Deck supplies me with a premium account for free which allows me to learn, demonstrate and share this product without any out of pocket costs.
